Utron designed, supplied, and installed automated logistics system for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, a global pharmaceutical company. This project includes an automated storage and retrieval system, rack support storage system, elevators, and conveying elements.
The system includes a rack support racking system, 11 AS/RS cranes, a pallet conveying system, totes/carton sorter, and pallets exchange. This sophisticated setup ensures efficient storage and retrieval processes, optimizing space and productivity within the facility.
The automated logistics system uses Unitronics PLCs and control technologies, as well as Unitronics’ UniStock™ WMS software. This software is designed to manage material flow and automated storage in logistic systems, continuously exchanging information with the organization’s ERP system to ensure seamless operations.

Teva required an efficient and reliable logistics system to manage the storage and retrieval of a large number of pallets within a controlled environment. The system needed to integrate with Teva’s existing ERP system and support climate-controlled storage conditions.
Utron’s design included an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) with 11 cranes, reaching a height of 41 meters, and accommodating 74,000 pallet positions. The system features rack support racking, elevators, and a conveying system, all managed by Unitronics PLCs and UniStock™ WMS software. This setup ensures efficient, high-capacity storage and streamlined logistics operations, all within a climate-controlled environment.
