Utron was responsible for the design, supply, and installation of an automated logistics system for Clalit’s Northern Distribution Center. This center is responsible for daily order fulfillment for pharmacies, laboratories, clinics, private special clients, and others.

The system includes 2 commissioners, a PBL (Pick by Light) system, a totes conveying system, an on-line stripping machine, and a totes sorter. This setup ensures efficient storage, retrieval, and handling of various materials within the distribution center.
Technology
The automated logistics system features an automatic fast-picking process and storage system, including fast-picking stations and a pick-to-light system. This enables high rates of order fulfillment, including urgent orders. The system includes full integration, control and software systems, and interfaces with the customer’s SAP ERP system to enhance efficiency.
