Mechanical Engineering Designer

Utron is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Designer.

In this role you will be a part of mechanical R&D team and will be involved in the R&D process of the Electro Mechanical designs of Utron products, support the integration and testing process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing system parts /subsystems (machining, sheet metal , plastic injection etc.)
• Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting POC, POD and other project tasks; applying principles of mechanics, motion systems, hydraulics, and materials.
• Performing theoretical calculations and stress analysis simulation for the design is mandatory
• Conducting experiments methodically, Test planning and execution, analyzing data and interpreting results, integrating the designed systems
• Jigs/tools/Fixtures design

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

• B.Sc  Degree in Mechanic Engineering
• Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in design (machining, construction, sheet metal,)
• Welding industry
• Prior experience as Mechanical designer in multidisciplinary projects (EE, ME,SW)
• Hands-on experience, systematic thinking, leadership.
• High Level of verbal/written communication, time/resource, attention to detail, interpersonal and organization skills
• Self-motivated, self-maintained and able to take the initiative to solve problems
• A team player, committed, results oriented
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• High skills in Hebrew and English, speaking and writing,

Others:

• Experience in CAD software – SolidWorks and EPDM obligatory.
• Experience in heavy duty industry – an advantage
